As the lead designer, I was responsible for overseeing the visual direction and user experience of the entire website. I worked closely with stakeholders to ensure that the design captured C&L Ward’s brand identity and effectively communicated the company’s services to potential customers. Key tasks included:

  • Visual Design: Developing a clean, modern look that represented the company’s professionalism and commitment to quality.
  • Custom Navigation System: Creating a vertical sticky navigation bar that offered users an intuitive and smooth browsing experience.
  • Custom Iconography: Designing a set of unique icons to visually represent the company’s services and improve user navigation.
  • Page Layouts: Crafting custom page layouts to ensure information was presented in an engaging and user-friendly manner.
  • Brand Integration: Ensuring all design elements were cohesive with the company’s established branding, including typography and color schemes.

Key Features

The website was designed to provide an optimized experience for users while promoting the company’s services. Notable features included:

  • Vertical Sticky Navigation Bar: A custom sticky navigation bar was designed in a vertical layout, pinned to the right side of the screen. This feature allowed users to easily navigate the site without cluttering the header or disrupting the flow of the design.
  • Responsive Design: Ensured the website provided a consistent and seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Service-Centric Layouts: Created custom layouts for key pages (home, about, and service categories) to highlight C&L Ward’s offerings and improve user flow.
  • Brand Consistency: Integrated C&L Ward’s established brand identity throughout the design, including colors, typography, and logos.
  • Custom Iconography: Designed a set of custom icons to represent specific services, improving both usability and visual appeal.
