Urgent Care TX provides accessible, high-quality urgent care services to communities in Texas, offering a convenient alternative to emergency rooms for non-life-threatening medical needs. The company emphasizes compassionate, efficient care, ensuring that patients receive timely treatment in a welcoming environment.
For this project, I designed a website that emphasized clarity, ease of use, and accessibility. The goal was to create an intuitive experience that effectively communicated Urgent Care TX’s services while maintaining a professional and reassuring visual identity.

As the lead designer, I was responsible for creating a cohesive and visually appealing website that aligned with Urgent Care TX’s mission of providing high-quality, accessible healthcare. My key responsibilities included:

- Style Tiles & Visual Direction: Designed style tiles to establish the project’s visual direction, defining typography, colors, and UI elements.
- Custom Iconography: Developed a set of unique icons to visually represent services, enhancing usability and navigation.
- Optimized User Experience: Focused on accessibility and ease of use to ensure that patients could quickly find important information and resources.

The website was designed to offer a seamless and informative experience, guiding visitors to key healthcare services. Notable features included:
- Meet the Staff Section: Showcased medical professionals with professional headshots, credentials, and a link to an about page for each team member to build trust and familiarity.
- Urgent Care vs. ER Comparison: Planned to educate visitors with a side-by-side breakdown of when to visit urgent care versus an emergency room.
- Custom Iconography: Designed a set of icons to improve the visual hierarchy and make key services easily identifiable.
- Service-Based Navigation: Structured content to prioritize patient needs, ensuring easy access to essential services and clinic locations.
- Engaging Visual Storytelling: Integrated professional imagery and a balanced color palette to reinforce a sense of care and reliability.
